The Inkwell opened it’s doors in July of 2005. Kate and her staff bring well over a decade of professional experience to the table, ensuring a pleasurable experience for anyone who walks through the door. The studio focuses on providing a safe, clean, and friendly environment for its body art customers. Although we provide thousands of flash designs to choose from, custom work is not only always welcome, but strongly encouraged. A custom tattoo designed specifically for you is special……..the way it should be.
The Inkwell also offers body piercing. We have a large selection of body jewelry on hand, and if we don’t have it we can help you get it. The studio is, of course, health department inspected and approved, and is always on top of current health issues. Needles are always single use,and all equipment is autoclave sterilized. Just come in and ask for a tour…….we would be happy to show you around and let you see first hand.
Kate and her staff are dedicated to providing you with the safest and friendliest environment possible. Please feel free to ask any and all questions you may have. When you are making a decision about permanently altering your body, there are NO stupid questions.

There are a bunch of wanna be tattoo artists out there, but Kate is legit, she goes over every detail with you, makes sure you know what you are getting, and that you are sure you want a tattoo. I have four tattoos all from Kate I WILL NEVER TRUST ANYONE other than Kate to give me a tattoo. (except Chris Garver) but even Kate understands that. Thanks Kate.

Hey Kate, Hope all is well and the new year has brought you much love and luck so far. We miss your crazy ass. We healed wonderfully, and will be headed there this spring. Can’t wait!! keep warm and see you in the spring. Love your girls from Indianapolis.
